Once at Tenerife Zoo, our client's child saw a magical sight - a small turtle sunbathing on a huge crocodile. She was so impressed. Since then, these two characters have always appeared in our client's evening stories and have become members of her family. In this friendship between the turtle and the crocodile, the client saw so much more: to be different, to be an individual, to be a brave dreamer and to have friends who are not like you. It is a complementary harmony.
The aim is to combine style and quality. The idea is to wear these garments for more than just one season - the same cool jumper for several seasons should be loved by parents and children for its history and quality. The client wants to create stylish and minimalistic clothes (for parents) and funny but not stupid colourful details for children. The ultimate goal is to sell the product, so we have to use simple garment construction and more or less use what is fashionable. We need to use the Scandinavian style, but with more patchwork.
The most important thing was to create a mood that reflects the whole characteristic of the production and the brand itself. It was important not to lose the story and create a simple, effective solution that works. It was a lot of fun to go back to our childhood during the process and just expand our creativity without being tied to a particularly strict herarchy.
